Warren County is in located East Central Missouri. It was named for Joseph Warren, an American Patriot.
The seat and largest city are both Warrenton. It has its southern border made up by the Missouri River.
Montgomery County borders Lincoln, St. Charles, Franklin, Gasconade and Montgomery Counties.
Main highways through the county include I-70, US-40, MO-47 and MO-94.
